As the title says, need the two rear window lower window moldings, exterior. The car came with the textured molding, as it is a black car. I do have two of the upper corners pieces to trade or can buy outright. Just need good driver quality. PM pictures if you have even one of them and what you need for them. thanks  :toast:

Not many people even know they were different.  I'll check my extra trim pieces and reply if I have them.

Thanks CODY, the guy who has the cover for the fuel lines on Ebay thought he had a line to a partial set, but the guy never got back to him, That was a year ago.   :thankyou:

Yeah, that's going to be tough to find.
Most people don't know about the textured moldings.

Nothing in my stash.  :sorry:

Thanks for looking!! :thankyou:   I will try again in a few months and see if I have any luck. I know any of the textured moldings are hard to find. I really don't want to buy a full set, but may have to. I am hoping someone has a partial set they have sitting around.  Here is a picture of one of the upper corners so everyone has an idea of the texture. I believe they were more prevalent on rear window louver cars.  :alan2cents:

Quite sure I have picked up a couple parts from Vlad. He seems so busy and I know shipping is a pain, and then shipping out of country compounds it. Sometimes finding a box is the hardest part of the shipping fiasco. Maybe when you chat with Vlad, think his id is like YZZK or something similar, you might check with him.  :thankyou:

I need the whole set for mine.  I had to use the bright trim in the meanwhile.

It's tough to find but it's out there...I come across it from time to time...That textured, aluminum trim bends easy and corrodes also...I used to see the trim bent up at the boneyards from someone prying on it like a piece of stainless...

Those are aluminum?  I didn't know that!   :bigthumb:  Thought all the window trim was stainless.  But I guess that makes sense.  Stainless would be a major pain to stamp.

They are stainless, I thought they were aluminum too but Dwight from Canada set me straight.

:iagree: The ones I restored for my AAR Cuda were stainless for sure. :alan2cents:

Must be gospel, two guys from  :canada: say stainless.  :D  Thanks for backing me Alan.   :slapme5:  Every once in awhile I gotta take a step or two back.   :bricks:

They must be a thin, low grade stainless for them to corrode like I've seen...I've seen some pretty rough pieces over the years...I'll have to pull some pieces out and do some testing...
