Multimeter What do you use and recommend?

As with most gauges , electric or hydraulic pressure you are better off running in the mid range of the scale not near the end .
Fluke is great stuff , only need to buy it once

Fluke here also! I've been in the electrical construction industry my whole life and that's the Snap On of electrical test equipment. Others will do the same job to be honest but Fluke has never let me down.

Iv just picked up a fluke clamp on DC current multimeter, if you can stretch the budget for a clamp on Amp meter do so, they are so handy for simply checking current draw

Pricey though?
My fluke 773 was about $1000.00 cdn five or so years ago. It only does mA.  How much was the  amp meter?
