Hit it with a small bead of self-leveling sealer and it'll look factory.  :bigthumb:

Nice! Harbor Freight?  Are replacement tips available or other brands fit?

It came with 2 sets. But it looks like they are standard equipment.

Kinda impressive, how long did you wait between welds?

It has a 50% duty cycle so by the time I moved it and got it ready I could hit it again. It got a little warm doing the one side, but not real hot or anything.

I got to try the spot welder yesterday. It works really good, almost too good. A 4 second weld was about right. Anything longer than that was burning though. I think I am going to grind the tips down some so they are not so pointed. That might work better. I'll keep you posted.

For any one thinking of getting one of these. I say go for it. To me it was worth it for the roof installation alone.

Wow, that really looks good.  Always wary of Harbor Freight quality but the 220 unit did some nice work.
