Interesting stamp on an aar fender tag

Is the 1A stamp on the trans am tag typical?  I've never seen it.   How often did that stamp happen? 
Is it an inspector stamp like what goes on the little tags under the fender tags?

I've not seen that before, but it looks legit.

I would agree that it looks legit.  Letters look just like my 2C on my little fender tag.  But that's on the separate little tag.

@6Pack70  Is correct  :-[ the numbers are on top on the speedometer, I stand corrected. how ever the gauges are not the style used on 70 challenger. but are correct for a 70 barracuda.
