All I can say is-- :stop:

:iagree:

Let him sit on it awhile and maybe the price will become more reasonable.  :fingerscrossed:

I will be getting pictures tomorrow hopefully.

He says it's actually a decent roller.  Needs a trunk.  Said the rear quarters didn't look that bad.
The fella is into the chargers and had to purchase all four cars to get the chargers he wanted.
He said he thinks there is a rear seat in the car.  Dash is there with vin tag.  He didn't even lift up the hood as he's not really into the barracuda.
Said the passengers fender is dented pretty good but it didn't touch the hood at all.  Nor did it touch the a pillar.  But it busted the windshield out as well as crunched the passengers fender.
There is a chance there is a build sheet in the rear seat.

I know I shouldn't even look at cars in this shape, but it's got those scoops.  More details tomorrow evening.  So the what's it worth price might change when I get a picture of the hopefully fender tag

Looks like a $2000 parts car.

With only $500 worth of parts... :haha:

I took into account the $1,000 I would make selling those little scoops to Cuda Hunter....

I figured that was the case !!!  :haha:

If I was to get this car I am sure I will end up paying a premium. seems to happen quite often.

Don't show so much interest up front with him, knowing he is not into Cudas/Barracudas. Make him come to you. He might sell for a reasonable parts car then.  :alan2cents:

well, too late.  I had to show interest in the car to the original owner just to get him to pass my number along to the new owner.
neither of the gentlemen knew anything about the M46 option.  The new owner new it was special but not what it was.
The problem is most folks replace "special" or "rare" with VALUEABLE.

That car is beat.

You might as well ride it out, you never know. I hate Mopar guys that think because the car came from the factory with a rear seat speaker but no radio it's worth $10m. In my old age I just walk away when the seller is unreasonable because I don't need anything that bad. However I have seen other people stick with stuff and get a reasonable deal on something like this if they showed patience, good luck to you.

My cousin is checking the car out for me.

The fella that purchased all four cars from the craigslist add is willing to sell me the barracuda as it is not what he is after.
I have not spoken with him about price yet as I am not sure what the car really has and how bad it is.

It does not have a fender tag.  The new owner looked and said it was not there.  He appears to know what he is talking about as he is knowledgeable in Mopar.   thank goodness

he says the doors are in great shape, the quarters are in decent shape.  The hood did get a small ding.  the passengers fender is obvious. Vin tag there.  No front seats. All existing interior is black.
So I don't think it is a fe5 red with a red interior anyway.  Wish it was.
Says it has good rails, but he hasn't spent much time on the car so who knows what's behind the scoops and in the wheel wells.

I sure hope I find a build sheet and it is the correct build sheet.    So far I have had over a dozen ebodies and have not found even a hint of a build sheet.

I would have discussed price FIRST before wasting anybody's time. :alan2cents:

Man, that would be the ticket for the car.  Good luck and I hope there's one in there.   :fingerscrossed:  Build sheets add a lot of value.   :alan2cents:

I want reference pictures regardless.  So it doesn't hurt.
And family is close. close enough anyway.

I got a few more pictures.
Also know there is no build sheet on the bottom rear seat.  Not sure about the top rear seat yet.
My cousin got escorted off the property by the police.  I won't get a chance to pick at the car again until it is at the current owners property.
Current location has cameras and the people on the other end of the camera's thought my cousin was trying to steal something. So there was a huge mis communication and he was told to leave and never return.    I am always good for an exciting day.

So anyway, here are more pictures of this car  It appears all the pans are "gone".

So there's no proof those scoops are original to the car....Car appears to be originally white, so someone has repainted it at least once, who knows whether or not the scoops were added ?
