A friend gave me two Carters to get rid of for him. One says it's a Carter AFB and has 9625 SA stamped on it. The other does not say Carter AFB on it, looks polished but has 9336 SA stamped on it. I do not know what these came off of. The 9625 SA is nearly complete to best of my knowledge. The 9636 SA is missing choke assy. Any value?

Ebay says $50-75, once you box and list, minus  fees so.....
Swap meet $40 buckers, or give to a friend.
Oh wait! That's what he did. LOL

The "SA" on the tags and stamping on the ear of the carb. indicate that they are service replacement carbs.  IE: They were made for at least a few, or many years after the original carb designated originally without the SA was produced. An example of this would be a Carter 4640 carb, which originally came out in the 1969 production year, but was made for many years after that year. Typically a carb. always has a one year application, then a newer updated one is made for the next production year. The Carter 4640 was made for cars that were big block with A/C in the 1969 model year. I looked for over three years for an "original" one dated during the actual production year(for a 1969 Charger with A/C and a sunroof) before I finally found one that worked for the March 1969 SPD of the car. There were literally hundreds of 4640 SA carbs, but very few without the SA and a proper 1969 production year date.
