Compatible master cylinders

What other master cylinder part numbers are compatible with the 1970 Bendix style brake booster (18326) aside from the hard to find, pricey 2229171? Any recommendations? Car has front discs and 11" rear drums.

I have been using these.  They work with manual or power and look pretty similar to the originals. Not identical.  Brand new units.  Top pic is factory and 2nd is this MC.

If you want something really close looking to a 2229171, there is a place that seems to have a bunch of NOS A body disc master cylinders.  These look like 7/8 scale 2229171s.  They have the same 1" bore diameter too.  These have pushrods and mounting studs installed, and they would have to be removed to install on a booster.  But the master cylinder itself is the same power or manual.

I should probably start a new thread but since its related, Did Bendix booster 18268 have different versions in 1970. Some have a diamond shaped center where the master cylinder mounts and others are round. Whats the difference? Both are part marked 18268.

I don't believe that is correct as my 1970 AAR built in March 1970 is the Original one and it is the bottom black one.

Berry Washington did a article on this master cylinder. He gave a couple different part number for it.

This is off a 70 383 RT. It the original one to the car.

And this piece is a third version of the 18268, kind of a combination of the first two shown.

the 5-digit number is a vendor code not a part number (Chrysler Corp. part numbers - muscle car era - are 7-digit)

you will find the 18268 on many different Bendix boosters
