It depends on what type of engineer you're looking for. In some aspects I operate under the theory of "it can't break if it isn't there!" 

Cutouts are vacuum actuated, so they only make noise when I'm on it [emoji106]

Yes: I like hearing an Engineer say keep it simple as well, it's refreshing, Now if I can find the Ram Engineer that thought putting an oil filter directly above the electrical connections and workings of a front axle is a good idea....

Totally agree with that.  What a PITA it is.  I use a thin piece of aluminum flashing to TRY to route all the oil into the drain pan but it never seem to work.
