I think I have the info, but it's at home.  Sorry buddy I can't help.  If you find the numbers let me know and I'll help you look for a set at the swap.

does it have an axle package?

& they are STAMPED numbers

Chryco Psycho

Leaf springs are never cast so there is no casting number , there is a stamped # though  :vipermanhiding:

1970 340 & 383 e-body convertibles:
"044" for non-axle package (3400044)
&
"024/034" for axle package cars (3400024/3400034)

for '71 the hardtops (including 318) used the "044" springs - convertibles moved up? to the "045" springs

at this point I'm "assuming" they are the same 3400044 spring

anlauto

I knew that, and that is why I was asking about 1970 just to make sure.

I will be looking for the same 044 springs at the Mopar Nationals next Month....somebody went and put HD 'B" body springs in my 71'Cuda.

Hi know it's an old tread but when guys talking about the axles packages. Are talking about HD suspension with sway bar? Like there is on a A66 convertible car? What would be the spring number for a Challenger convertible A66 with heavy suspension and sway bar?

Skdmark

The axle packages (A31, A32, A33, A34, A36) would move you up to the S15 XHD "Hemi" suspension.
If your A66 car has an axle package (A31 or A36) it would have S15 suspension, otherwise an A66 car would be the S13 HD "Rallye" suspension.
Do you have your broadcast sheet? That will tell you for sure which pair of springs it came with. It was most likely "044"

If I got something wrong here, I'm sure it'll get corrected.

340, 4 speeds, 3,23 sure grip, look like it's S13 suspension so it would be 044. Its the same number for left and right?

76orangewagon

Yes, if you had 044 springs they both were the same .
