Has anyone used these leaf springs? They are from a company called General spring www.general springkc.com I am going to get new springs anyone have any suggestions I like the idea of a little extra lift

Brads70

No experiance with them but many of us on here have used ESPO leaf springs. http://www.springsnthings.com/

They also make them in plus stock heights.

Would it be a fair assumption that the original springs after 50 years are saggy a bit?

I'd say thats a fair assumption. Factory/new springs kind of give e-body's a "saggy bum" kind of look I notice it  more in  Challengers. I guess what height you choose depends on what kind of car your building? A factory type restoration might look out of place with a back end up , but a hotrod type cruiser would look cool. Its a personal taste type of thing I guess?

Just drop the front end and the back looks fine.

As above it depends what you want out of the car , the flatter the leaf spring the better the car will handle , try distorting a 2.5" wide piece of steel sideways !  The rear height can be controlled somewhat with different front mounts too ., I generally prefer a low stance with the front lower than stock but that is me .
You might want to look at Carbon fiber springs such as Brad has too depending what you want , they will save unsprung weight which also improves handling .

I was just thinking about maybe a 1or 2 inch lift that doesn't seem like much or is it?

2" is a lot IMO
Here is mine when I used to have plus 1" steel springs on mine. They did settle some after about a month  Not sure what your working on Cuda/Challenger but here are some  on Andy's Cuda .If anyone has any better side pictures of Andy's Cuda they are now on there ?
