I'm looking for the correct one for an 1971 340 A Body with power disc brakes.

I do not see the 3699283 listed anywhere. Is that a part number or a casting number?

The correct 1971 340 A-Body power disc master cylinder is casting number 3461187.

The 283 number is casted on the bottom, no idea where it's from

Check that master cylinder 3699283 again and make sure it is not 3699263.
According to this post, the 3699263 is for an A-Body manual disc brake setup.
