my 70 challenger currently has a B&M Quicksilver floor shifter (automatic).  Based on my steering column, i presume it was originally a column shift car.  i plan to go with a manual transmission 4 or 5 speed, can i simply change the cover on the steering column to eliminate the gear dial and column shifter handle thing or do i need a new column for the manual transmission?

@booyaballer  Yes, your car was a column shift at some point.  You can use that column and just change out the collars.  @TONY  makes the parts you need.
