I'm getting a set of Torq Thrust II polished wheels for my 70 Chally: 17x8 in front, 18x9 in the rear.

What lug nuts do you recommend? I'm ordering from Summit and getting it delivered to Europe so I wouldn't want to make a stupid mistake and order the wrong thing.

CalCustom? McGard? They get great reviews on Summit.

Would these do?

McGard or Gorilla make nice lug nuts. If you are concerned about locks, these are my favorite, due to the slip ring on them. I am not a huge fan of spline-type.

My 68 AMX 390 "GO PAK" has four Torque Thrust IIs and they are two-piece wheels.  Gorilla Lug nuts #68187LB 1/2" - 20 because the front rotors are thick two piece rotors and the lug nuts are E-T style with an extended shank that enters the wheel about 3/16" for more grip on the wheel stud. Using McGard wheel locks. I may shift the wheels to the Challenger being as how they are the same bolt pattern.

Thanks for the replies gents.

Just to make sure: I am buying front wheels 17x8, 4.75" backspace and rear 18x9, 5.0" backspace. These should fit fine?

Depending on the rear tire size, you will likely need ~1/2" wheel spacers and perhaps longer rear studs to keep the tire out of the leaf spring.

I've looked at Year One Magnums and supposedly they fit without spacers or any other adjustments and they're 17x8" w/4.5" backspace and 17x9" w/ 5.125" backspace.

@303 Mopar   Dan, can you chime in here before this nice Croatian makes his purchase?  Yes, order once as Croatia is a ways away.  Sorry, I know 18's well, not 17's.

I run similar wheel sizes with the 1/2" spacers. 255/45 front, 295/45 rear.

I think you will be close but may need a 1/2" spacer as mentioned.  I run 18x8 with 245/45/18 on the front, and 18X9.5 on the rear with 275/40/18 and 5.25 bs.  There is 3/4" space between the spring and tire. https://forum.e-bodies.org/wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-and-steering/12/us-mags/25/msg106#msg106

Yeah, I followed your thread and was at one point seriously considering Ramblers. :-)

Thanks for the info!

Jegs has a $30 discount on orders over $300 so I'll split it into two orders and get the whole set for $60 less.
