A nice shot of it outside.

I've known Mike for years, great guy...also explains why this thread is five years old.... :haha: :haha: :haha:

Be sure to tell him Alan Gallant says "HI" next time you're over there :drinkingbud:

Oh we talk about you almost every time I go to the shop to check on progress!! He says he's known you forever too. Only has nice things to say about you.

Its been there for more than 5 years...not Mike's fault, it's mine. Slow going because I want everything to be perfect. You know the old saying: caviar tastes on a tuna fish budget.

I just spoke to Mike the day before yesterday.  I'll be meeting with him next week to discuss the plan for a full restoration on my 71 383 Cuda.  It will be a joint effort with him doing the paint & body work while I do the mechanicals, and various sub assemblies.  Looking forward to finally getting my project started after 2 years of parts gathering.  While I was at his shop in April I saw your car ...beautiful!

Sticking with the original EV2 with the black leather interior and vinyl top to go with the factory louvers.  I plan on tearing the car down over the winter/early spring and getting the bare body to Mike in early summer 2023.

Great looking Cuda! Is it a factory window louver car? Looks to have awesome options

Front seats in and interior panels dyed to match. Both front and rear panels are original.

The interior is looking incredible, you're so lucky to have original panels  :clapping: :drinkingbud:

Thanks Alan. I have 2 other sets of original rears, one in pretty rough shape and another in decent shape. I am trying to decide if I want to sell the ones in decent shape or hold on to them. I have this fear that something will happen to the ones in the car and I don't want to be left without a spare set...probably just being overly cautious. A member on here has first dibs if I decide to sell.

Hey Mark! Thanks for remembering me.
While my repaired,  and retexured ones are coming out nice, I discovered my other car has some badly chalked out  and crumbly ones.
Unless of course, I'm not mister lucky....

Rear seats are upholstered now.

Just need seat belts and the convertible top.
