Goody....ya just gotta get a pic of this beauty entered in the "Restored" calendar!  Congratulations and enjoy the "done" status for a while.    Something else will eventually pop up...they're never "done".

Thanks! I need to find a scenic spot and dust off my DSLR for pictures. [emoji106]

Keeping the same vibe was very important for me, but it has significant updates in many areas. [emoji106]

Still clicking off miles. I'm up to 540 or so now. [emoji106]

I've been playing with my laptop dash to make it a little better looking and user-friendly.

Thanks! The Warlock is up next, he needs some lovin'. It's my Wife's truck and it needs paint, a seat recover and some more power. A smog 360 with 2.71ish gears is boring! :stop:

Warlock needs a 518, lots of room so you shouldn't need to cut anything.... Then some 3.73/4.10 gears & a FiTech system should make a world of difference...

She would like it to stay very true to original [looking]. I don't see an issue with a 408, painted aluminum heads, FiTech, a good converter and gears. I may try to find an upgrade junkyard 8-1/4 with better gearing, discs and a limited slip to replace the current 8-1/4 with.

I don't think many would notice a trans change & it would completely change the way the truck drives..

I really miss my Warlock , they were great trucks , the 518 sure makes sense , you could always slide a 3.54 Dana under it too

RUNCHARGER

Oh you guys are stirring the pot! I must say though I've probably had a dozen trucks of the 72-93 era mostly big block 400 and 440's. Hands down the best drivetrain combo was the 92 318-518 combo. That truck probably had more power than the lo-po 440 trucks and better driveablity by far with the OD and injection.

Last input for my %slip traction control is done. Now to work on tuning it.  :burnout:

My little helper kept me company and kept turning my shop light on and off.
