When the wife said yes to me buying another car I knew I wanted a Cuda, also knew I liked the rectangular tail lights. Hard to find a 71 and nearly brought a 70 in LA before this 71 came up in Indiana . Metal work done and a great guy selling it. A mate and I had a fantastic 2 week trip to USA to pick it up. Would do it again. Might have to wait couple of years.

I can't resist putting a few bits back on the car, doing pedal box/ brake booster at moment .

Finally the day arrived to take cuda to painters  , weather was perfect.

The tail panel was getting blacked today and tomorrow B5 Blue, most exciting.

I painted some fasteners last week .

Panels get done in couple of weeks.

Painter was very happy with my prep, bit of na shame that the billboard will cover 95% of quarters .

Am away for 2 days otherwise would be staring at new colour all day.
