The spoiler screws are Phillips flat top washer head screws. When I removed mine there wasn't any plating left so I didn't know what plating was used. Zinc or black phosphate. Frank Pullara has a survivor AAR which coincidentally is the same color and was gracious enough to take some pics verifying that they were zinc. That lead me to these. They are only in the PDF catalog page 18.

There is no other place on these cars that these type screws were used. IMO.

Awesome!!  Thanks so much Chet.  Enthusiasts helping other enthusiasts..... that's what it's all about.  Every one of us is somewhat sick with these cars.  It's best that we help each other through it. Lol

Pressure washed some of the big stuff today before taking to the blasters....

Very rare to find any markings on the typical CDN car....

That's an elastomeric front bumper for a Cuda laying on it's face...does look odd at that angle. :brainiac:

Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.
You are the only one in charge of your destiny.

Yup....actually out in the shop today working on New Years Day.....Welcome to 2019 everybody

I restored a ton of little parts over the last five weeks, I'll post some pictures of the finished components later when they're all finished up....but today I was working on the LCA's.

24hrs in muriatic acid did the job of removing all the rust....then a couple of good coats of Seymore's Stainless Steel paint, then cleared....They're not going to rust again...ever.

I like to assemble them before they go for their gooey dip in actual Cosmoline
