Trunk pan, rails, and extensions are all epoxy primed. Seam seal tomorrow then hitting it with a satin black on Monday.

Finally a nice day out this week so decided I'd power wash and degrease 45 years worth of grime instead of spending it in the garage... As you can see, the torsion bar decided it loved the lower control arm so much that it came out with it. Anyway that brings my to said bar, seems to have a slight bend to it... is this normal? My black lab is wondering too...

Never priced new ones but I would have a hard time putting used on mine.
If going used I would for sure replace in known pairs so they would have the same "wear" mileage on them.
May not be an issue in reality but in my head it would.

Very common for the T bars to become curved over time
I doubt you would have any issues with them if you reused them but Why ?
PST has a deal on 1.03 bars I hear

91 degrees here and low humidity. Figure I will paint some upper arms.

I think I may be sick... Looking over the car today after taking the front fenders and hood back off to start prepping the engine bay for sealer, coating and such... When I spot this on the frame rail  I see there is a patch available to repair this. Anyone have any experience on using the part? Actually, scratch that... I have a replacement rear frame rail that I thought I was going to need in the beginning but ended up not using. I'll cut out the rusted section, mock up a piece using the replacement frame rail and patch it so it is at least Frankensteined with the same thickness of metal.

Hopefully it works, in theory it should....

That sucks but at least you caught it

Not the best, but it's solid and still learning to fabricate. I'm pretty happy with it, and saved me $250.
