The rallye fender vents had been painted over during a repaint of my 73 Challenger in 1980.
I ran the black plastic vent piece through my bead blast cabinet, and it cleaned up nice, although it is a big dull.
Were these plastic vents flat plastic originally, or were they a shinier finish?
Wondering if I should leave them dull, or paint them with a black plastic paint?

If I'm not mistaken I believe it was more satin. Your best bet would be to get some adhesion promotor and hit it with some SEM Trim Black.

Yep and scuff 'em with a very fine 3M pad before you do.

And a through cleaning in between! warm water , soap, rinse and let dry.  :alan2cents:
