Anyone modify an r/t hood to increase the height of the cowl/scoop area? I saw it on a newer challenger but can't find the picture. Similar idea to the fabrication on the hood below

I have seen it done in a pictures.... it was a yellow Challenger I think....

Chryco Psycho

I did a custom AAR hood with a 6 " rise , i will see if I can find a picture

The psychedelic Cuda on CC.com had one.

Was yellow with a bunch of stripes all over.

Can't remember his name but he was on CC & Moparts....

Yup that's it.

Thanks.

Wonder where it is now?
Was a very cool car.

I know it started life as a 340 car & stayed that way till around 2010 then like every other Cuda it got a Hemi.... The wild paint was done in the late 70's & I believe made it to one ISCA show then got taken home & parked in a garage for 30 years....  Amazingly the paint didn't blister & peel like so many of the custom jobs done back in the 70's...

Yea I've seen his car in person, got me thinking about an RT hood for a challenger. I was thinking of adding 3-4" to mine to give it a more aggressive look without getting too radical?

I love that car!  That paint job is sic.    Back in the late 80's I was doing those type of paint jobs on drag boats.  I always wondered which one they originated on. Boats or cars?

IRON MAN

This on showed up in Google Chrome images. Has cowl induction.

Now that I see it, don't think I like it

:iagree:  It's just to much.  Those nostrils so high up mess with the proportions to much. IMO

anlauto

:iagree: I think they needed to make the nostrils larger too...
