Auto console brackets placement converting from column to floor shift

   Hello out there in Ebody land;  want to find out if there is a template or if there are measurements of where the Auto console brackets get welded to the floor board on a 70 Barracuda. Currently the car is column shift. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You.

@1Burgfish These photos are from my 1970 Challenger. Factory placement of brackets. I hope they help you.

Looks like the seat belt hole is his baseline.

When I did mine I started with the hole for the shifter rod that goes down to the transmission then worked back, assembled the shifter etc to the brackets , tack welded then tested out the shifter before final welding. Then assembled the console to the shifter to find the rear mount location.

  Maybe this photo can help. It's sitting in my shop and always in the way. Any value to this or is it only good for the scrap pile? I possibly could use it in a 74 Charger I hope to start on this fall. It is a column shift and I may switch it to a console shifter. Hmm.

I too have something like that laying around somewhere . . kept it for the brackets . . .
