What product did the factory use for inner and outer panels together?

The areas such as hood skin to inner framework - was there a special product or did the factory just use a seam sealer or something?

2498187 structural adhesive. I'd assume its like the modern panel bonder.

That`s what I thought, had someone trying to tell me it was just seam sealer. I bought some 3M flexible panel bond for it.
