That would be a real nice car restored! For the guy that can do all the work himself it might be a reasonable price.  :dunno:

Now that is an awesome charger.

I do tend to think the price is a little steep.  but since it drives and is all numbers and only 69 built, it's kinda hard to argue that price down much.  Especially since it doesn't have much rust or body panels to repair.

Interesting one for sure...and I'm kinda stumped as far as value. The Super Bees don't typically sell for as much as their Charger R/T brothers do....then you add the fact it's column shift automatic....and that it would really deserve a full restoration ... all things that make me think it's over priced...

..but then you look at the rustfree condition, the numbers matching, documentation, and the running driving aspect, cool colour combo, etc.... and I'm not so sure anymore....

I also think if you searched around a bit, your likely to find a restored 71 auto Bee in the $60K range  :dunno:

If it were mine, I'd repair/weld up any rusted areas,  probably paint the vinyl top area black ( instead of installing a new vinyl top), get a $1000 Maaco paint job and then drive it everywhere.  That's what I'm doing to my 74 Charger Rallye 360 right now. I want to enjoy it while I can.

That's another factor I was thinking of....the "Patina" look is really popular these days too.....I'm sure there are a lot of "drive it as is" buyers out there too...Personally myself....I couldn't imagine driving a $45,000.00 car that looks like a turd 8)

Rust is not patina so I`m with Alan - I couldn`t drive a $45k V-code car that looks like a turd. Would be a col car restored though.

I have another 74 Charger that I'll be working on when I finish my 74 Rallye. Now it has patina with nearly zero rust. I paid $900 for it 13 years ago and drove it home. I'm considering just fixing the mechanicals ( brakes, hoses, heater, etc.) and driving it as is. It even has a rear bumper hitch. Take a look. But the Charger SuperBee, I'd have to paint to stop the rust as I said above, and then drive it. Once the rust  starts to pit the hard to replace original parts like the hood, the value goes down. Just my opinion.

I'm heavy into 71 Chargers and I would value that V code Bee right around 30 grand. Real money.... cash. I dont recall any mention of any other paperwork with the car other than the buildsheets still inside. Dig it out for that kind of coin.  There's a good chance it might actually match the car being that the gunmetal interior color option is not very common.  Usually another sheet under the bottom front bucket seat bottom bun too on a Lynch Road 71 car.  I hate the auto/column combo.... thats a killer.  Other than that, its a really cool Bee.  I see a factory floor mounted cassette player base there too.  Not sure what kind of unit that is on top of it though.
