This one is a couple hours from me. Tempted to go look but I wouldn't want to waste the guys time.

Ad needs more info and more pictures. I always get a little concerned when I see a nice shiny car and a fender tag close up that looks like it was dredged off the ocean floor.

If you search the vin on google you can see more pictures from a old listing. The car looks very rough and looks like it was hit on the drivers side.

Doesn't say anything about a repaint but it must have been. Too clean and shiny for original. And considering how awful the fender tag looks, I can't imagine that the weather only attacked the engine compartment.

Neat car. More photos needed for sure, It's funny but a seemingly insignificant thing like those hood pins would have to lead to a complete repaint (and we all know where that leads) for me. The car sits way high in the back too so I would want to inspect the whole car.

Looks like a quick paint job, some rallyes, and a good filter on the ebay pics....

I wonder if Flip buffed those dents. It is a solid U-code though in a great colour, just has to be priced to reflect condition.

It's actually a cool car. I don't know why people try to gloss over things trying for a sale. These cars sell well and sell even better when you provide full disclosure.

A friend of mine had a pretty original land cruiser from the 70s in mostly original condition. He put it on eBay and provided pages of painful disclosure. To read it and all the little things he put in, you'd think he'd never be able to sell it. Of course he put in a ton of high grade pictures too. That thing got tons of bids and the buyer ended up being from Sweden. When they spoke afterward, the buyer commented that he chose this one over all the others not because it was the best one or the cheapest but because he knew beyond doubt exactly what he was getting and that the seller wasn't hiding anything.

That's pretty much been my experience as well with selling anything on eBay. I think this guy is hurting his own flip sale by not revealing everything he knows and giving us the full history. The price is not outrageous so it could be a great car for someone.
