What I don't get is how the tone isn't annoying between members where people are picking battles with other.

I will say however that the lack of drama here is amazing! I guess it goes to the character of the owner & the members!

The Admin and Mods here will tackle any issues as they arise on this forum.  Most of this calmness is due to the constant activity of those in charge . . . and the quality of the members that are active on the site!   I personally do not want to be part of a forum that constantly bickers and slams other members.  :stop:  I'm sure Cody will agree with me that if there are members consistently bashing other members and continues after being warned, we will send them packing!

I agree with the Quality of the members here most of us here want no part of the Drama so it doen't happen , Mods & Admin do a great job too but most of the time there is very little to do thankfully

Don't have anything new to add other than I had to check this thread again...

Guess to make it worth something. Happy Friday you all.

Most of the time the members are so great there's hardly anything to even moderate.  Maybe move a topics once in awhile, but for the most part the members do a good job of being a positive influence and helping each other.  Could not ask for a better group.   :grouphug:

I do allot of my work on a computer, so I may have a browser open with E bodies.org open/running which adds to my hours on the site but I'm not here that much, I'll pop in a couple times a day when there's nothing else demanding my attention....

(I'm not addicted, I can stop at any time)

crack, heroin, E bodies.org   pick your poison...

I think it sets a 60 minute login timer when you browse, even if you are only here just for a few seconds.  So you might only really be "online" for a fraction of the time it logs.

Most of the other sites have a 15 minute timer I believe . . .  :dunno:

I can't come on here at work, as my works system tags this site with "warning", I do mostly lurk on Moparts at work, along with checking some news and stock market sites a lot.
But when I get home, I usually check here soon after I walk in the door!
Like others here, I avoid "fake book" like the plague it is.  I know I miss some good car related groups there, but missing that is far outweighed by my being happy to miss out on the constant barrage of "friends" posting political stuff, pictures of their dinner, their vacations, etc.  :stop:
A couple car related posting sites are all the social networking I need!  :ohyeah:

I prefer the word enthusiast, rather than addict.......

But when I sit down at my computer it is the first site I open, and its the last site I check before I turn off the computer....cuz it's late and I gotta work in the morning.

215 posts.  top 10 time spent online.   I mostly read and enjoy.   This is the only forum I actively partake in and at that I don't post very much.

I actually got dinged a point on my last Evaluation for not being on more work related sites, learning and becoming better informed about the IT field :foul:

I'll be the first to say it's true :bricks: :Thud: :-[

However while my boss was dwelling on that point, I was actually thinking about popping back in here and reading/learning.  I'm incorrigible like that :yessir:
