Dana 60?

Hi Guys,

Looking for identification of this axle. Is this a Dana 60? It's for sale locally to me and want to know if it's worth buying. Thanks for you help!

I don't think so, shape seems off,
You have a better pic straight on of the cover?

8 1/4 is essentially round
Dana is vary narrowed to the right side

Sorry guys I have no more pics. This axle is for sale on market place. These are the pics that were attached. He said it was off a 70 Charger.

Re building and re furbishing used Dana 60's (if you find one) isn't worth it anymore.

Many a thread before of cutting, new axles, bearings, cleaning and new clutch discs, etc.

Nowadays, we here (that know) go to Dr. Diff.
He'll set you up a True Trac, powder coated, with all kinds of goodies way less than if you tried to on your own.

Thanks for the info TOPCAT. Just thought if it was a DANA 60 for $100 i couldn't go wrong.
