Just got back from Gary's house in Lafayette. Unreal. This man has literally thousands and thousands of parts for classic Mopars. There were a few guys there with me and anytime someone asked for a part, he had it. I bought a neutral balancer for my 340. Another guy got an oil pan, windage tray and a balancer. The sheer amount of stuff he has had me geeking out.

Don't know the guy. Is it an EBay seller? Good to know someone like this local. Engine blocks in good shape lying around?

He's not an EBay seller. Just a guy who's been building/collecting/racing for a long time. I'm sure he has blocks.

Sounds like a guy a lot of us would LIKE to know!  :bradsthumb:

Cool story About 7 years ago when I bought my Challenger, Gary came to my house to help tune it up. (Not sure why I did that because i started tearing the car down after that for restoration.) Bear in mind Gary is an older guy and this car was largely untested . After he tuned up the 383 he said he was going to take it for a test drive so I figured he would have a casual drive around the neighborhood. WRONG! He got out to my street and foot when to the floor and the engine did not hesitate or stumble and he lit up the tires with smoke clouds up and down the street. :unbelievable: I was so friggin impressed by that. Dont know if my neighbors were though.
