The complete packages were amazing compared to today. Stock based engines, stock based transmissions, stock based suspension, stock based floor pans.
I thought nothing of running these cars at around 150MPH on deserted highways back in the day. Was young and didn't worry about the tires on the car or any other pieces of the puzzle that could have spelled disaster. These days I'd want to be on a track, and at the last have modern upgraded shocks, brakes and tires.
