If you are looking for stock wheel lug studs, @MoparDave  can get them for you.  If you have a 1970 and want to go back to 100% stock he can even get the LH and RH threads too.

Well, brings me to another question, when did the 1970 hubs go to all RH threads?

1971 it was changed.  All 1970 were original RH and LH lugs.

My 70 has a build date , Oct, 69, it has all RH studs!

My 5-70 A66 , Still had left hand threads in 81 when I bought the car. I was 20 years old at the time. Strong like bull, dumb like ox.  I had snapped 4 of 5 lug nuts off, on the drivers side before some old guy told me about left hand threads. I didn't know why mopar put a 7 on the end of the studs until I turned it upside down a saw a L.

Ha, ha: Yep, my friend in Chrysler parts told me to just always loosen them to the back of the car. It was actually good engineering but unfortunately the public didn't get it and GM and Chrysler both ended up changing to all rights.

:haha: you recount the story well......I can laugh because I know someone that did something similar..... :-[.

Welcome Yobi- Don't weld them, it may work but its not a long term fix. I am all for doing what it takes to get it going but you don't want to skimp on the bit that holds the wheels onto the car!
