Seeing the sketches and clay turn to production is a favorite part of my job.

While looking for the E Brake I spotted the 71 style T shifter....funny because you would think these are pre-70 styles....so I wonder why it didn't make it to 70 production, but t did make it to 71 production  :thinking:

First time for me seeing this thread.
The dash transition is striking for me along with the clay modeling being awsome.
The (assumed) early sketches have several oldsmobile cues along with the rims as well. Toronado ish.
Life is to be viewed thru the windshield. Not rear view mirror.

It's interesting to wonder where the E bodies would have evolved had they stuck around seeing how a mark and mustang changed.
