Was given a tour of body panel stamping molds today

Wow it was really cool.

Giant molds that are polished, chromed, then a coating like teflon over.

They're Giant.

The one's I saw were being prepped for the Toyota Tacoma side 4 door truck.

I begged to get pics but that was ..."No deal"   :bricks:

Tandem stamping lines are very cool. We have many parts produced off of them and I have also visited a plant in South Carolina making parts and e-coating.

I worked in a stamping plant for 18 years  :tired: ....impressive but I  don't care to see another one  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
