@1ownr beautiful car. and yes more pictures please

I built this ridiculous dolly thing to work on the dash.  Trimmed down one of the new repro Rallye heater control bezels to work with the standard gauges.  Then got to learn how much of a pain in the ass it is to put the temp/function selectors back together!  My mini grip clips finally did the trick but MAN, what a hassle.

Went out to the garage and patted my just returned, rebuilt and re-painted 4 speed and promised to get 'er in real soon now, y'hear?

Why ridiculous?  The amount of work for a one a time use?  How wide is the base part with the wheels and was the width adequate with regards to stability?

It would've been more ridiculous if I didn't already have the casters mounted on an old homemade dolly.  21" wide and with the 58 1/2" 2x4's it's suprisingly stable.  by adding the inside braces the weight is perfect and a really good working height. Best of all it was almost exactly the length of 3-8ft 2x4s so I had very little cut loss.

my biggest caution is to put some screws/bracing on either side of your lower mounting tab. it's top heavy and easy to swing on that single pivot point unless you also somehow secured the top too. not cool when it starts to fall on you .... don't ask me how I know .....

Yes, he did and hopefully it'll never need to be done again in my lifetime at least.  :bigthumb:

I took a header off the 440 in the Piower Wagon because it was leaking. Not hard to see in the picture where the leak was. You can see the gap between the header flange and straight edge in the second picture.

Finished my switch panel. Have to wait until it warms up to finish the rest as I don't want to spray paint in the house

Saw my painter today. He switched gears to a brand that had the right EB5 formula in a database, did a spray out and it matched the parcel tray. Super happy, paint should be laid down this weekend.
