This is a really great looking car with a lot of original parts still on it, according to the ad.

That is amazing!
But also a bit sad, that a car that awesome was rarely driven  :('

I would hazard to guess that's 125,000 miles. A few things look pretty tough for just 25,000.

Depending on how a car was stored, they typically don't look super great after 50 years even if kept in a garage or shed. The hemi cuda convertible that just got bought from the original owner in Texas got a very thorough going over, buffing and detailing from Apex before being unveiled at MCACN last year for example.
That Challenger was advertised before, I think I recall seeing it on Cars On Line a year or two ago.  I wish I remembered the price.  There's a guy in AZ with a nice garage of gems who has advertised a lot of high end cars over the years, some of the pictures look like his place.  I am guessing he is something of a flipper, I wonder if he bought it from the Cars On Line ad and trying to sell at a profit?

Yeah I think it may have changed hands a few times recently. It was "found" and came up for sale out of the same town I live in here in NJ maybe 10 years or so ago.

SOLD, according to the subject line on the other forum.

Well, before the car sold at least we got some better pictures and some valuable information about the car.  Pretty cool history on the car.  It sucks that the For only websites cut off the discussion after a car is sold.  They also cut off any for sale ad for discussion after 30 days.   Lots of things that suck over on the for only's but lots that are good too.

Like the last guy said on the thread, those wheels are pretty unusual.
And the V21 treatment was missed by the factory paint guys.

It would seem someone updated the tires and wheels at some point from the steel wheels and hubcaps it had new. The V21 question was unanswered. Did the car not get it as a factory error? Or was it possibly in a front end accident at some point and the hood replaced but the decal not replaced?
I did notice in one of the side shots the passenger side door and fender didn't look aligned as well as I'd hope.  Maybe factory, or maybe evidence front end repair was done at some point from a fender bender.
Whatever the case it's a cool car, though frustrating to see even 383 cars bringing 6 figures!
