Wrong  Every 4spd Hemicuda came with a Dana... On a Hemicuda with an automatic the Dana was an option....

The answer would be anyone who wanted to actually go fast, not feel fast....  4 speeds throw you around some so it feels fast but when ever the clutch is in the car is slowing down....
