Allan that is good advertisement that you well deserve.  :bigthumb:  Sold for $83,600USD or $111,300 cdn!

Beep Beep Dave

It sold for $83,600 including commission. That means it bid to $76k on the block, seller gets a cheque for less than $70k and then you have your expenses for bring it to the auction, hotel, food etc. Mecum made some good money on the car.

Even after paying the 10% sellers fee on the 76K, the seller which I believe is Canadian still ended up with about $91,000 cdn. Allan can chime in if he wants but I think the seller didn't pay much more than that for the car.  Seller also kept the pricey 9171 MC and  had the pleasure of turning his AAR into a Hot Wheels car. :haha:

I sold the car a few years ago for $90K CDN. :dunno:

Could have, should have, would have.
If I did buy it - I would not have done the V Code car with you.   :)

That's a sweet ride, to me the AAR is the perfect e-body... Yes Hemi RagTops are where the real $$$$ is, but from a cool hot rod / driver perspective, a car that you would enjoy owning, the AAR is it...

You did a great job on that ride, too bad it had a slush box in it instead of a proper manual transmission. It might have gone quite a bit higher :D

Yes, a 4 speed can add as much as 15% to the price.
