Assuming they even do that how much could they even sell it for after paying 29 for the shell alone ?

Engine trans brakes suspension etc

The shell was advertised for $19K, they got it for a little less then that he said, They have a bunch of stuff left over from other projects, like the 440/transmission etc...most parts that are missing get replaced anyhow like bumpers, grill, side markers, interior etc...

They figure another $30K invested plus their time (they do all their own work....sell it in the $70K CDN range..That's their math, not mine....

I'd like to get my hands on a 70 Charger to replace the one I regrettably sold back in the 90's.... but even a basket case is fetching decent numbers nowadays.

Funny...The guys that just bought this Challenger also won a 1970 Charger on eBay this week for $22,600 USD, but when they went to pick it up...it was falsely advertised as having all the numbers matching...The dash VIN DID NOT match the rad and trunk lip stampings....They pointed it out to the seller and got a refund...I'm sure it will be re-listed soon...   They do have another 70 Charger they are restoring to flip....but it will be stupid money...these guys know what they have...

I'd be furious, especially after probably would be an investment in time and money to make pickup arrangements. 

At least the money was refunded.
