Over 25K bid for an engineless basket case  V code automatic project car?
Yet I finally had to give up trying to sell my turn-key show winning 4 speed '71 V code Challenger due to zero interest.
This market makes no sense.  As Mr. Maki says on South Park: "drugs r bad, emkay?".  :haha:

It's hard to know what might be shill bids, but it does look like something is going on.  The highest bid that looks for sure legit is the $22,400 bid.

I just looked at the bid history thing to educate myself, and ebay said that number for the bidders activity was just for the last 30 days. So if they have not bid on anything lately, they would have 100% activity for this seller (in the last 30 days).

right?   :notsure:

Yes that is correct.....but still interesting to some degree, it's the retraction thing I don't like.....How often does a serious buyer (of anything) have to retract bids ? I know I've never had to....

Finished at $25,750 reserve not met.  With that mid 70s GM space saver tire he posted a picture of in his listing, he's wise to hold out for at least $30K!  :takemymoney:

Car will never be #'s matching. The FC7 T/A with numbers is looking really good compared to this empty hull.

I just saw on another forum that someone contacted the Owner saying he has the original engine for this V code. I think he's in the process of reuniting them. I have a feeling the reserve will be even higher next time.
