Forgotten meaning I forgot  :clueless: where this wire goes.  I had labeled the hole in the firewall it passed through (with it's own grommet) as "oil pressure" wire however my pressure sender uses the slip-over type connector like the solid gray wire in the one photo has.  The mystery (grommeted) wire is either tan or gray with a black tracer; has a eyelet end and is in two pieces with a bullet connector between the pieces.  What does it connect to?

Also can anyone show me how the factory routed the A/T switch wires from the firewall down to the transmission?

Thanks!

Don't take my word for it, positive side of the coil is my guess.

Looks like tach wire to the coil neg post. Slip on connector is the oil pressure.

@7212Mopar @anlauto  Tach wire... yes that makes sense now; thanks guys!  :bigthumb:

How about the routing of the A/T switch wire from the firewall loom down to the transmission?  I guess it is backup lights wire.

Down to the trans tunnel along the dipstick and go on top of the trans to the neutral safety switch. There should be wire clips on the trans so the path is very clear.

I'll have to look when the tranny gets back from the shop.  I think the only clips that were there were one on each side down by the pan rail; nothing up top to support those wires.
