What order do you install the sending unit ?  Gasket sender ring ? Sender gasket ring ?

Gasket, sending unit, lock-ring.    :alan2cents:

thanks for the response that is what I thought but wanted to be sure

Make sure the sending unit is not upside down, and the tabs on the lock ring are all the way installed. I still have had issues with leaking fuel because the new lock rings are thin and cheap.

I ended up using 2 rubber sealing gaskets to get it to seal.  Use your original locking ring if you can.   :alan2cents:

Thank you for the additional information.

If you can't reuse your original lock ring, Detroit Muscle Technologies sells the best one. I personally haven't used it but the specs look great, and it's stainless.

Thickness of aftermarket vs original.

@303 Mopar
Did you try using two gaskets to eliminate the leak? When I changed senders about 5 years ago I went with two gaskets and have not had any problems with leaking.
