Is this wire for a/c car?

Not finding where this short wire goes to. Is this for a car with a/c?  Thanks in advance.

Idle solenoid?  Can check for continuity from that to the alternator field wire (should be blue too)

I believe it is essentially for both the idle solenoid if you application has one and the distributor vacuum advance retard solenoid.  Depending on application there sometimes is an auxiliary harness for one or both that plugs into this.  I would get a service manual and look in the electrical section and there should be a couple different schematics for different engine and carbs.  The 71 manual looks to have 4 different ones.
