I attached some photos of my starter and relay wires . Is there a way to route these? They look to close to the exhaust pipe as they come over the exhaust pipe. it's a 340 engine.
If someone can post a photo of there wiring it would really help me out.

If you have the stock manifolds and battery cables they are scary close but that's what it is! Not a whole lot of room there. I can try and get a picture tomorrow if nobody else has one

If they are too close for comfort you can try wrapping them in a heat resistant sleeve

A picture would be great . I think the wiring on my car is routed wrong.

Much different on a big block (mine is a 383). Starter solenoid is no where near the exhaust pipe.

Downpipe on your exhaust looks like it comes out at an angle, cutting down on clearance. It should be coming straight down. But, it could be camera angle.

Here's a bottom view of my challenger. As you can see it is so close on the starter but that's the way it is. You'd think with a small block you'd have all the room in the world

the pipe does come down straight , it's the camera angle. it's hard to take a good photo.

Fixed , played around with the wires and got to moved the wires up and away more from the pipe.

Does anyone know how long the positive cable needs to be?
