727 Auto to 833 4 Speed Conversion

I took about 6 months sourcing parts and didn't get a rebuilt 833. got the bell housing custom done from brewers (big block bell with small block bearing retainer hole machined). Spent all the money I made extra on a deployment on that project

So out for a test drive and shifting from 2nd to 3rd felt like it really killed the rpm's. Then from 3rd to 4th was like downshifting. I did some research and it turns out that an OD trans requires the front lever for the 3-4 rod to be flipped upside down. Now it's much better!

Should have left it and just had a really unique shift pattern
