Yes it is. Hard to find also. I just lucked out and bought this NOS one from Tony's for 175.00.  I usually see these running in the 250.00 range.

Is the removable part of the crossmember with the tranny mount the same for manual and automatics?

In e-bodies, yes!  Not so in my '68 Charger as it takes a different trans cross member.

Despite the cold snowy weather outside here in Denver  :pullinghair:   we were able to get some progress completed. 
- ball frame bracket welded in
- ball stud, clutch fork, clutch pedal rod and boot, and torque shaft are all installed
- clutch and pressure plate, and bell housing installed (although we had to trim the ears since it was hitting the headers, I think this is just because of my 392 with the TTI headers and not something that a SB/BB would have to worry about)
- found a 35 tooth speedo gear and installed it
- installed the 833 with linkage rods and shifter mechanism
- installed the transmission cross member

I did, but I'm having a 3" h-pipe with Dr. Gas Boom Tubes installed, so not sure there is room for cut outs too.
