RUNCHARGER

That sounds clean and smooth. Great job, I bet you're just a bit happy now. You will have to keep checking the intake bolts for tightness, I would do it after an hour of run time if possible, then after a few more hours then hopefully it will be good.

@RUNCHARGER that was right before this teardown but after I finnished up the terminal block.  I was just showing she's don't idle like granny's car

Ah okay: Well it does sound pretty clean there I think. I believe you're going to be okay with it. The plugs were dirty but that idle sounds pretty good to me over the computer screen anyway. (remarkably I have a similar sound clip for the 528 when I installed the 650 lift roller in it, car sitting in the garage with the shaker hood up as well).

I could not find any of the THREE BOND that wild RT recommended. But I did go over to the local ATV/Snow machine/ rice burner store. He sold me the stuff "they" use.The question is can you put Honda goop on a MOPAR??  :unbelievable:

Hondabond HT is a high quality silicone product, it's great for eliminating the end seals but it's not what you want for around the ports....   Hondabond 4 is relabeled Threebond so call your local motorcycle shop & see if they have Hondabond 4 & use both products....

Ok my apologies, I got that backwards.... Your Hondabond HT is relabeled ThreeBond......   As you were... Proceed...

When you apply the stuff it's thin and runny but sticky....  I wipe a thin layer on each component, if there's any oily residue the stuff initially won't bond & so as you wipe it across you wind up with a bare spot, a few more wipes & it will lift the oil & bond securely..... I go around each port especially the lower areas where it can suck oil...  I do a wipe across the areas between the ports & from the port out to the end rails....

Super thin coat on the head, both sides of the gasket & the intake.....  A medium sized bead of high grade silicone in place of end seals....

If you even need to take it apart the stuff comes off pretty easy with a razor blade & brake clean...

BIGSHCLUNK

I just cleaned up everything w brake cleaner - ther should not b oily residue anyplace!    Time to marry honda & mopar!
