Does anyone know if there is a reproduction wiring harness made for the safety switch on the side of the transmission? I pulled it out of my car and noticed the inside of the plug at one of the spade terminals looked melted away? I suppose I could cut the plug off and solder on new aftermarket terminals but I was hoping to use the correct plug.

Any idea what would cause that? Don't want it to happen again of course.

I believe you can buy the whole original style plug and splice it in a few inches away from the tranny
