I'd say just run it as the plenum is still divided alas not like before. In this config it still will not operate like a single plane.

You got nothing to lose.

I've never used JB Weld.  If I used it to put the plate in would the fuel overtime eat away at it?  I would hate for it to end up in the cylinders.  My welder doesn't weld aluminum.  Is there other products out there that would be better in this situation?  Thanks

Cuda Cody

I wouldn't discount JB weld.  Nothing is better then doing the job right with a welder, but my good friend (when he was a kid) had his first car take out a lobe on his cam and he used JB weld to build it back up.  Not kidding, he was young, in the service and had no money.  At the service base "hobby shop" he did the repair.  He had to get his Mustang running so he used JB weld on his CAM until he could save up to buy a new cam.  Ran okay and was working.  His plan was to get a new cam when he could afford it, but ended up selling the car a few months later.  He said he saw is Mustang about a year later at a gas station.  He went over to the new owner and started talking to him.  The guy bought it off the guy he sold it to (the guy did a quick flip).  The flipper didn't tell the guy the cam was repaired with JB Weld and needed to be replaced.  The JB weld cam was still in the engine!!!!!

Hi Cody,

I hope you are well.  I'm really surprised that there isn't more info on this topic. It's like crickets out there no one knows.  Maybe someone here will have an idea.

Here are some pics.

Love the videos by the way.

Dave

@Daveh @Cuda Cody I love the richness of the new purple on your Challenger. Do you happen to have spray-out cards of it vs. FC7? I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison if possible.  :thankyou:

Cuda Cody

I don't have any FC7 spray outs right now, but I'm planning to do some next year.  I'll try to remember to do some extras in case anyone wants them.   :handshake:

Daveh

Sorry Cody I didn't make any roll outs of the paint.

:iagree: make a divider but it may work very well without it also , You already have it so try it out first
