Been running a TSP ready to run in my 383 with fitech.  Today #3 quit on me, lost all spark.  All three simply die while driving.

Thinking its time to go another way.  I really like the all in one design, 4 wires and a coil.  Not big on a external box.

Whats your go to?

Thanks

^^ Never run one. I've done stock, Petronix and MSD with 6AL box. If you were happy with it and the unit is indeed shot, grab another... for $80 it's hard to go wrong.

*edit*

Just reread your post, you have the RTR. Scratch previous opinion. I like the MSD units for RTR, never had issue with them.

Am using Rev N Nator with their, at the time recommendation , Accell distributor.
Looks like they have a package using the Fire Core distributor now.

On my current build, I will either use an MSD ready to run or I might step up and use the external box, but hide it under the battery tray and wrap the wiring so it's not so obvious.

I run the external box on another car of mine and I absolutely love it. Starts easy, idles great. I've found it to be very reliable, even in desert heat. I plan to also use fuel injection this time around so if the box allows me to integrate computized timing, that's another reason for me.

I don't know if it's marketIng hype but the box is supposed to fire three times at lower RPMs as a way of eliminating occasional misfires and also keeps the plugs nicer. It could be hype but my plugs also stay super clean and I've never noticed a misfire.
