RB lifter

Some cam manufacturers state their RB lifters will only fit 1968 and newer engines. Is this true and what's the difference.

Pushrod length was different so the height of the lifter (camshaft surface to cup) was different. You can put 68 lifters in a 67, you just need 68 pushrods as well. I'm sure after all these years that most 67's have been converted over.
