Anybody use TTI 1 3/4" headers with Firm Feel quick ration pitman and idler arms?? The TTI tech "thinks" they should clear, but can't be sure. And once I buy them and install, we all know they are now mine  :dunno:

Several have tried this but I do not know anyone who has made it clear without modification.

Well crap......Dumb question which I think I know the answer to....I can go back to regular pitman and idler arms without another alignment--can't I???  If I just pop one off and put another one on? I think so, but  I have never done that so I am not sure.

Wanted to go down this road but they won't work because the pitman arm will hit. It's actually in the notes on the TTI site.

I had to go with Hedman ceramics and I would have liked to have gone with TTI but....

How did the hedman's fit?

A bit tight but they fit. Had to a little massaging around the power steering box but they work.

Not issues with the Quick Ratio arm.

At least there are options. Can I replace the arms back to stock without another alignment?

You may have to adjust toe in and out when going back to the original arms.

And crap again :(

I guess I will need to try the Hedman headers and hope the TTI exhaust fits...I would hope it would.

Call TTI before trying because they are not cheap to have to switch to something else.

When you change the pitman arm to quick ratio, do you have to change the idler arm also?

It's a very good idea to change it. I believe its a c body part/application? Its been so long I forget exactly?  Other wise funky stuff happens to the geometry when things are not symmetrical .

Wouldn't even think about changing one without the other.
