It's been very slow for me also on the laptop. Not seconds but minutes

Unfortunately, this site is almost unusable for me. No other site that I regularly visit is as slow to load as this one. Very frustrating.

Is there no solution?
Is it even being worked on anymore?

I'm continually noticing less and less posts and fewer people contributing - sad.

Yes, it's a darn shame. This site is a great source of reference for these cars. It kind of looks like it might be heading to oblivion though. Hard to know what is going on, perhaps no sponsorship to fund it's operation is what I'm thinking.

Same with me on tje delays.
Don't mind the adds because this is our accepted life with these forums.
My issue is the adds are overpowering its usage.
Too many times I have to shut it down and move on because it seemingly locks up.
Adds are immediate. Site needs to be at least Reasonable percentage.

It's been said before, sometimes we get lucky and hit it at just the right time. Unfortunately those times are getting fewer and fewer.

I've pretty much given up.  I think the only solution is to move to a new server.  Basically what I'm being told is it's like an apartment building (the server) and anyone who makes to much noise gets the whole complex in trouble.  So they slow it down to figure out who it is and then we get caught up in the BS that other sites are doing.  Is there anyone out there that wants to take this on?  I costs me about $3,000 a year to keep the site on the server we have now and it's mostly due to the size of having all the free photo uploads and resources.  Dave at Roseville covers a big chunk of that costs.  But moving to a new server can be a big deal and I don't think I have the skill or knowledge to make the move safely.  We're using https://www.inmotionhosting.com/ right now.

Thanks for the update Cody. This will help us that are less savvy on the inner workings of the site. Hopefully some of the members that are more tech knowledgeable than most of us will have some ideas on how to rectify the problems.

Seems just fine today. 

I am seeing members moving over to the febo site due to the delays here.
I have zero tech ability.  Hopefully someone here can help us out.
